ASR Annika Snow Walker of MSCA

Anna is naturally attuned to overhead threats and has been safe with chickens every day of her life. She peacefully coexists with all our animals, confident and calm. Anna is very sensitive to tone of voice and has a great desire to please, which made her extraordinarily easy to train. I have never known another dog with such a soft mouth. To take a treat she opens her mouth and lets you place the treat on her tongue. She is respectful at mealtimes and not particularly food motivated, eating peacefully next to Elsa. She loves to race and play with the neighbor's German Shepherd though some of the other neighbor's dogs are viewed as threats and warned off. After initially barking fiercely at a knock on the door she welcomes visitors warmly.

Anna has double dewclaws behind and they have been very easy to trim and maintain. She does get mats behind her ears when she sheds out in the spring but trimming them out is easy with either scissors or clippers.

Her OFA hip radiographs were done at 5 years old and are graded good. Her Embark DNA test shows only a carrier status on the CT. The significance of this is currently unknown as the breed is not affected by copper toxicosis.
